Puffer Electro

Thorned Rose is built for Armorers, and Claret easily meets its DEF thresholds for the 4-piece bonus. Pairing it with 2-piece Puffer Electro and a PEN Ratio Disc 5 is best alongside Rina. It falls behind in teams that already shred DEF.

Strongest with Dialyn: she gives Ellen an Ultimate in every Stun window (even two), so this set's ATK and Ultimate DMG buffs are always used. Without Dialyn, its 12s duration usually can't cover a full Stun window.

The strongest set overall: 28% ATK while an enemy is Shocked, which Grace applies herself. Best in mono-Shock teams and still on top in Disorder teams if you arrange for most of her buildup to happen during Shock. Swap 2-piece Puffer Electro for Swing Jazz if you lack Energy.

The best set for a Physical Anomaly DPS: +10% Physical DMG and +35% DMG for 12s against enemies hit by Assault from any squad member, active almost all the time against bosses. 2-piece Puffer Electro (PEN Ratio) is recommended.

The top choice for an on-field CRIT-scaling main DPS: extra CRIT Rate and plenty of ATK under easy conditions. Besides Puffer Electro, 2-piece Branch & Blade Song, Fanged Metal, Astral Voice or Hormone Punk also work.

The Sky Ablaze is tailor-made for Pyrois: unconditional CRIT DMG and near-permanent ATK% thanks to their cheap EX Special Attacks and Ultimates. Pairing it with 2-piece Puffer Electro and a PEN Ratio Disc 5 is the recommended setup.

The best Support set: an EX Special Attack or Ultimate grants the squad 18% DMG for 25s, and the 2-piece adds Energy Regen. 2-piece Puffer Electro adds PEN Ratio, which directly strengthens Rina's buff.

The best generalist set in most teams: although Sigrid is already rich in combat ATK, the 4-piece bonus is large and Stuns are often extended, so it still pays off. Pair it with a PEN Ratio Disc 5.

Best when you have Dialyn: one Chain Attack turns into an Ultimate right at the start of the combo and her Decibel Ultimate comes later, so the buff stays up for the whole Stun. Without Dialyn it falls off, since Soldier 11 relies on double Chain Attacks; Astra Yao can partly make up for it with extra Chains.

Best with Dialyn. Corin always has the Puffer Electro buff during her burst, and you can even keep it through the whole Stun by staggering Dialyn's converted Ultimates with Decibel Ultimates. Without Dialyn it usually falls behind.

The best set for Supports: an EX Special Attack or Ultimate grants the squad 18% DMG for 25s, and the 2-piece adds 20% Energy Regen. Pair it with 2-piece Puffer Electro for personal damage.

Gives the highest raw damage if you run a PEN Ratio Disc 5, but only use it when the team does not shred DEF (Nicole, Trigger, Jane M2, Alice M1 or Deadly Assault DEF-shred buffs).

Recommended in Dialyn teams: Dialyn guarantees one and often two Ultimates per Stun, so this set's Ultimate and ATK buff covers the entire combo. Without Dialyn it usually falls behind Hormone Punk because the buff comes late.

If you reach around 90% CRIT Rate without Woodpecker Electro and the team has no DEF shred, 2-piece Puffer Electro stacked with a PEN Ratio Disc 5 gives the most damage.

Against bosses with normal DEF, a PEN Ratio Disc 5 with 2-piece Puffer Electro deals the most damage. From M2 (DEF ignore) onward it's no longer optimal.

Only truly strong with Dialyn: she lets Zhu Yuan cast an Ultimate in every Stun window (even two), keeping the ATK buff and Ultimate DMG bonus active, sometimes beating even Chaotic Metal.

A set for burst play. Save your Ultimate for the Stun window and use it before the combo to gain ATK and Ultimate DMG. Its value drops if you can't have an Ultimate for every Stun.

Only worth it with Dialyn: alternating Hugo's Decibel Ultimate with Dialyn's Ultimate conversion gives him an Ultimate almost every Stun. His Chain Attacks aren't buffed, so adjust rotations to keep Hugo on-field more; clearly better from M2. 2-piece Woodpecker Electro is also a good choice.

PEN build for M0 Miyabi: a PEN Ratio Disc 5 plus 2-piece Puffer Electro. At M1+ or with DEF shred from teammates (Nicole, Trigger), switch to an ATK% Disc 5 and 2-piece Hormone Punk.

Only for teams with Dialyn. She turns Ben's early Chain Attack into an Ultimate to activate the buff, and his own Ultimate then extends it during Stun. Without her, the uptime is too low.

Its Ultimate DMG bonus is less valuable since Billy already has plenty from his Additional Ability, but the combat ATK is very welcome. It gets better with Dialyn, who lets him use an Ultimate every Stun. It suits a burst playstyle.
