Playstyle Overview

Corin is a free A-Rank Physical Attack DPS who fights with a chainsaw. You hold or mash during her attacks to extend the slash, which her Core Passive boosts. Her burst comes mainly from EX Special Attack: Skirt Alert and her Ultimate during Stun, when her Additional Ability adds 35% DMG.

Corin swaps in during Stun or with full Energy, and you need to manage Decibels to have an Ultimate every Stun. Dialyn is her ideal partner since she is Physical, converts Chain Attacks into Ultimates and extends Stun. Build CRIT and ATK. The catch is that Corin relies on player skill and teammates, and drops off sharply against enemies not weak to Physical.

Seed's signature. It has high CRIT Rate, and at max stacks her Basic Attacks and Ultimates ignore 20% DEF. It gets even better alongside other DEF shred sources like Trigger (with her signature) or Dialyn.

Increases CRIT Rate by 15%. When the equipper deals DMG with a Basic Attack or EX Special Attack, they gain 1 stack of a buff. Each stack increases the equipper's Electric DMG by 12.5% up to 2 stacks. Each stack lasts 40s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

Can trigger once per use of a skill. At 2 stacks, the wearer's Basic Attack and Ultimate DMG ignore 20% of enemy DEF.

Heartstring Nocturne

The best CRIT stat stick for Attack Agents, providing a huge amount of CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG.

String & Melody ›

CRIT DMG increases by 50%. When the equipper enters the battlefield, or activates a Chain Attack or Ultimate, they gain 1 stack of Heartstring. Each stack of Heartstring allows the equipper's Chain Attack and Ultimate to ignore 12.5% of the target's Fire RES, stacking up to 2 times and lasting 30s. Repeated triggers reset the duration.

Steel Cushion

ATK 684 · CRIT Rate 24%

A strong permanent option and the most used one. Its CRIT Rate and Physical DMG suit Corin well. If you fully exploit its back-attack bonus it can even beat Heartstring Nocturne, but most players won't keep that up consistently.

Metal Cat Claws ›

Increases Physical DMG by 20%. The equipper's DMG increases by 25% when attacking the enemy from behind.

Myriad Eclipse

ATK 713 · CRIT Rate 24%

Hugo's signature. It's a strong stat stick with plenty of CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, only slightly behind Heartstring Nocturne.

False Personas ›

Increases CRIT DMG by 45%. When using an EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate to deal Ice DMG, the equipper gains the Absolute Zero Death Sentence effect for 3s. While Absolute Zero Death Sentence is active, the character ignores 25% of the enemy's DEF when landing a hit.

Housekeeper

ATK 624 · ATK% 25%

Her signature, easy to use in burst windows. Her EX Special stacks Physical DMG, which adds a fair share of her burst even though the buff expires quickly. The off-field Energy Regen matters little outside Seed teams.

Safe Household Saw ›

While off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.45/s. When an EX Special Attack hits an enemy, the equipper's Physical DMG increases by 3%, stacking up to 15 times and lasting 1s. Repeated triggers reset the duration.

A dependable free option for any Attack Agent. It has an ATK% main stat plus an ATK buff after Dodge Counters or Quick Assists.

Best with Dialyn. Corin always has the Puffer Electro buff during her burst, and you can even keep it through the whole Stun by staggering Dialyn's converted Ultimates with Decibel Ultimates. Without Dialyn it usually falls behind.

4-piece:

Upon entering combat or switching in, its user's ATK increases by 25% for 10s. This effect can trigger once every 20s.

Woodpecker Electro

CRIT Rate +8%

The easiest set to use and the highest damage potential in Stun windows, since Corin's damage is concentrated in a few key skills. Just be careful not to trigger its effect by accident.

4-piece:

Whenever a squad member inflicts Assault on an enemy, the equipper deals 35% additional DMG to the target for 12s.

Woodpecker Electro

2-pc ›

2-piece:

CRIT Rate +8%

Adds Physical DMG and extra damage against targets hit by Assault. It works better when teammates like Yuzuha build plenty of Anomaly to trigger Assault often.

Corin uses a standard DPS build. Go for CRIT Rate on Disc 4. Disc 5 is flexible, but PEN Ratio is best there, and Disc 6 takes ATK%. For substats, balance CRIT Rate with CRIT DMG first, then ATK.

A variant with Astra Yao. She's Corin's best Support thanks to Quick Assists, extra Chain Attacks, healing, and ATK, DMG and CRIT DMG buffs.

Alternative Teams

Dialyn Stuns and boosts Corin's damage, while Caesar's Shields let Corin attack freely without being interrupted.

Astra Yao

For when you don't have Dialyn yet. Trigger supplies off-field Daze and Aftershocks with big buffs, and her Chain Attack places Corin behind the enemy to activate Steel Cushion. Ju Fufu can also replace Trigger.

F2P Team

All three are free and activate each other's Additional Abilities. Corin and Billy take turns dealing damage while Anby Stuns. It's a solid early-game setup.

Best Bangboo for Corin

In teams with Dialyn, Bangvolver is the main pick (needs two Physical Agents). You can also use Sumoboo, Luckyboo (also needs two Physical Agents) or Avocaboo.

In the F2P team, Booressure supplies Energy to the squad and you can get it for free. Bagboo and Avocaboo also work.

Which Mindscapes Are Worth It?

M2 is a worthwhile stopping point thanks to its stacking Physical RES reduction. M6 is the strongest upgrade, turning her chainsaw detonations into a major damage source. M1 and M4 are decent. M3 and M5 only add skill levels and aren't counted.

M1
When her Chain Attack or Ultimate hits, Corin's DMG against that target rises by 12% for 15s. It fits her burst playstyle.
M2
EX Specials, Chain Attacks and Ultimates lower the target's Physical RES, stacking up to 20 times, which raises her overall damage.
M4
Quick Assists, Defensive Assists or Chain Attacks restore 7.2 Energy (once every 16s), so she can use EX Specials more often.
M6
Extended slashes build up to 40 Charge stacks, and her chainsaw detonation consumes them for extra DMG equal to 3% ATK per stack. That's a huge damage gain.

During a Dodge Counter, Special Attack, EX Special Attack, Quick Assist, or Assist Follow-Up, when her chainsaw detonation hits an enemy, consumes all stacks of Charge. Each stack consumed causes the attack to deal an additional 3% of ATK as DMG.

Corin knows that she isn't the most powerful of maids, nor the smartest. But she hopes to become the hardest working.
