Playstyle Overview

Anby is a free A-Rank Electric Stun Agent from the Cunning Hares, with simple combos. Most of her Daze comes from chaining Basic Attack: Thunderbolt, a Special Attack or EX Special Attack: Lightning Bolt right after her 3rd Basic Attack hit, since her Core Passive adds 32% Daze to that follow-up.

Anby has plenty of Energy and decent personal damage for a Stunner. Don't keep her on-field long. Just use her Defensive Assist and EX Special Attack to build Daze. Build Impact and keep 50% CRIT Rate for King of the Summit. The catch is that she has almost no AoE, no buffs or debuffs for teammates, and is easy to replace.

ATK 684 · Impact 18%

Koleda's signature, and a great pick for any Stunner who uses EX Specials regularly. It gives off-field Energy Regen, Impact after each EX Special and strong base stats. It works best when Anby plays off-field, mainly through Defensive Assists and EX Specials.

While off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/s.

When using an EX Special Attack, the equipper's Impact is increased by 10% for 10s, stacking up to 2 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

ATK 594 · Energy Regen 50%

A craftable engine with high short-term Daze, since Impact scales with stored Energy. It's great for opening fights and strong in Shiyu Defense, but it falls behind in long fights like Deadly Assault.

Thick Broth ›

For every 10 Energy accumulated, the equipper's Impact increases by 2%, stacking up to 8 times. After Energy is consumed, this bonus remains for 8 more seconds. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

Precious Fossilized Core

ATK 594 · Impact 15%

A craftable engine and the most used one. It gives a big Daze bonus against high-HP targets, so it's especially strong in Deadly Assault, where it can even beat S-Rank engines.

Behemoth Hunter ›

When the target's HP is no lower than 50%, the equipper inflicts 10% more Daze to the target. When the target's HP is no lower than 75%, this bonus is further increased by 10%.

The Restrained

ATK 684 · Impact 18%

Lycaon's signature. It raises both the damage and Daze of Basic Attacks, so you trade a little Daze for personal damage. It's better when Anby stays on-field a lot, though that usually isn't advised.

Binding Chains ›

When an attack hits an enemy, DMG and Daze from Basic Attacks increase by 6% for 8s, stacking up to 5 times. This effect can trigger at most once during each skill. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

Her signature, but it's only strong for personal damage with Electric DMG and faster Energy generation. Since Anby's job is to Stun, the Daze-focused engines above are better.

Increases Electric DMG by 15%. When the equipper hits an enemy with Dodge Counter or Assist Attack, their Energy Generation Rate increases by 18% for 8s.

When the equipper is a Stun character and uses an EX Special Attack or Chain Attack, increases CRIT DMG of all squad members by 15%, and when the equipper's CRIT Rate is more than or equal to 50%, further increases CRIT DMG by 15%, lasting 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Shockstar Disco

Impact +6%

The best set for most teams. It gives extra Daze and squad-wide CRIT DMG whenever she uses an EX Special or Chain Attack, as long as she has 50% CRIT Rate. Pair it with 2-piece Shockstar Disco or Swing Jazz. It's ineffective if the team isn't built around CRIT.

Astral Voice

4-piece:

Whenever any squad member enters the field using a Quick Assist, all squad members gain 1 stack of Astral, up to a maximum of 3 stacks, and lasting 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of Astral increases the DMG dealt by the character entering the field using a Quick Assist by 8%. Only one of this effect can be active at a time in the same squad.

King of the Summit

2-pc ›

2-piece:

Increases Daze of attacks by 6%

A versatile support set that gives a DMG bonus to Agents entering via Quick Assist. Use it when the team doesn't need CRIT DMG or someone else already holds King of the Summit. Just keep an eye on its uptime.

Proto Punk

2-piece:

Increases Shield effect by 15%.

4-piece:

When any squad member triggers a Defensive Assist or Evasive Assist, all squad members deal 15% increased DMG, lasting 10s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

King of the Summit

2-pc ›

2-piece:

Increases Daze of attacks by 6%

A situational buff set that gives team-wide DMG after Defensive or Evasive Assists. Pick it when someone already holds Astral Voice and you're confident timing your Assists.

Shockstar Disco

4-pc ›

2-piece:

Impact +6%

4-piece:

Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks, and Dodge Counters inflict 20% more Daze to the main target.

Swing Jazz

2-pc ›

2-piece:

Energy Regen increases +20%

The highest Daze set, but the 4-piece only edges out the 2-piece and doesn't boost EX Specials or Defensive Assists. Only use it when Anby stays on-field with Basic Attacks, or when it gets you an extra Stun.

Run Impact on Disc 6 and reach 50% CRIT Rate to fully activate King of the Summit. Without that set, Disc 4 no longer matters much. Disc 5 and the remaining substats only add personal damage.

Her Core Skill increases Daze after the 3rd Basic Attack hit, so max it early. Special Attack and Basic Attack are woven together in her combo and matter equally. Chain Attack comes next for its high Daze. Assist is worth leveling if you rely on Defensive Assists, and Dodge comes last.

Best Teams for Anby

Mono-Electric Team

Anby deals lots of Daze and builds Electric Anomaly. Harumasa is the team's strongest Electric DPS and deals extra DMG to Stunned enemies. Astra Yao provides all-round buffs.

Harumasa

If you don't have Qingyi, Anby is Harumasa's best F2P Stun partner. Her fast Daze fills his downtime, and she also applies Shock. The Demara sisters activate each other's Additional Abilities, and Nicole shreds DEF during Stun windows.

Zhu Yuan

Anby is a great F2P Stunner for Zhu Yuan and can stand in for Qingyi since their kits are similar. Nicole shreds DEF, and her Additional Ability adds Ether DMG, which is Zhu Yuan's element.

F2P Team

A free team that activates all three Additional Abilities. Anby Stuns and can act as a sub-DPS, Nicole shreds DEF and groups enemies, and Billy deals the main damage.

Best Bangboo for Anby

In the mono-Electric team with Harumasa, Plugboo is the main pick, with Electroboo and Avocaboo as alternatives. Both Plugboo and Electroboo need two Electric Agents for their Additional Ability.

In the F2P team, go with Electroboo, or Booressure and Avocaboo (Nicole is a Support, so their Additional Abilities are always active). This team has only one Electric Agent, so Electroboo's Additional Ability won't trigger.

Which Mindscapes Are Worth It?

M2 is the best stopping point since it improves both her damage and her Stun. M6 greatly boosts her personal damage. M1 and M4 are decent, with M4 useful in mono-Electric teams. M3 and M5 only add skill levels and are not counted.

Her 4th Basic Attack hit raises her Energy Generation Rate by 12% for 30s, so you can use EX Specials more often.
M2
Thunderbolt deals 30% more DMG to Stunned enemies, and her EX Special inflicts 10% more Daze on enemies that aren't Stunned.
M4
Chain Attacks and Ultimates restore Energy to off-field Electric teammates. It's useful when you put Anby in a mono-Electric team.
M6
Her EX Special grants 8 Charge stacks. Each Basic or Dash Attack hit consumes one for 45% more DMG, a big boost to her personal damage.

When the 4th hit of Anby's Basic Attack hits an enemy, her Energy Generation Rate is increased by 12% for 30s.

"Charge up for just a minute, and you're set to fight for an hour!" That's the sales pitch for these weapon expansion modules.

And they deliver exactly that.

Precision DischargeRecommended

When Basic Attack: Thunderbolt hits a Stunned enemy, its DMG is increased by 30%. When Anby's EX Special Attack hits an enemy that is not Stunned, the Daze inflicted is increased by 10%.

"Electric shocks will knock you out cold."

Looking at the enemy out cold at her feet, she added:

"At least, that's what happens in the movies."

Conducting ChargeRecommended

When Anby launches a Chain Attack or uses her Ultimate, off-field Electric Agents recover 3 Energy.

For every 12% Energy Generation Rate Anby has, recover an additional 2 Energy, up to a maximum of 6.

You won't last long fighting solo. An experienced Hollow Raider knows how to create opportunities for their teammates.

Working for the Cunning Hares not only builds your mental toughness but also helps (or rather, forces) you to get in shape.

When Anby uses her EX Special Attack, she gains 8 stacks of Charge (max 8 stacks). When she hits an enemy with her Basic Attack or Dash Attack, 1 stack of Charge is consumed, increasing that attack's DMG by 45%.

Agent Profile: Anby Demara

Anby, the original member of Gentle House.

According to the New Eridu resident records, her identity as "Anby Demara" only exists after joining Gentle House, the name obviously being taken from Nicole. Before registering as an employee of Gentle House, all data relating to Anby is suspiciously blank.

Despite her extreme lack of common sense, Anby is well-versed in matters related to combat and is among the strongest combatants of the Cunning Hares.

Anby's greatest interest is movies, of which she likes an extensive range of genres. Due to an excessive obsession, she tends to take the stories in movies as reality.

Contrary to her seemingly emotionless appearance, Anby is easily moved by movie storylines.

Her favorite food is hamburgers because "they contain protein, carbs, and greens, taste good, and are even affordable — there's nothing else besides hamburgers."

Rumors suggest Nicole found Anby near the ruins of the old capital and took her in because she was impressed by her formidable combat abilities.
