CRIT Rate increases by 20%. When the equipper launches an EX Special Attack, the character gains the Qingming Companion effect, stacking up to 2 times and lasting 15s. On entering combat, immediately gain 2 stacks. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of the Qingming Companion effect increases the equipper's Ether DMG by 8%, and increases the Ultimate or EX Special Attack Ether Sheer DMG by 10%.

Who Should Use Qingming Birdcage

Ranks and notes come from each Agent's build guide on Zenless Builds.

Yixuan
YixuanPick #1 of 5 · S1
The best option, and almost everyone uses it: high Base ATK, HP% and 20% CRIT Rate. On entering combat and with each EX Special Attack she gains a buff to Ether DMG and extra Sheer DMG for EX Special Attacks and Ultimates, which fits her kit perfectly.
Banyue
BanyuePick #2 of 6 · S1
The best S-Rank alternative, used mostly as a stat stick. It gives HP% and an unconditional 20% CRIT Rate like his signature, although its Ether effects do nothing for Banyue.
Starlight - Billy
Starlight - BillyPick #2 of 6 · S1
An effective stat stick with an HP% main stat and an unconditional +20% CRIT Rate. It's a great fit since Billy is already loaded on CRIT DMG. It's about 11–13% behind his Signature, and Wrathful Vajra performs similarly.
Manato
ManatoPick #3 of 5 · S1
High base stats, HP% and unconditional CRIT Rate. Its Ether buffs are wasted, so it falls behind S5 Grill O'Wisp, but it can edge out the S1 version.
Yidhari
YidhariPick #4 of 6 · S1
A high HP% main stat and an unconditional 20% CRIT Rate, performing on par with S5 Grill O'Wisp without any upkeep, which makes it the easiest option to use.
